The Stone Creek™ BH Bird's Nest – Olive is a versatile trout nymph that combines the characteristics of both an attractor pattern and a natural caddis imitation. Featuring a buggy, lifelike profile and a weighted bead head, this proven fly effectively imitates caddis larvae, emerging insects, and a variety of drifting aquatic food sources.

The Olive Bird's Nest is especially effective when trout are feeding on caddis and other subsurface insects but are not locked onto a specific hatch. Fish the BH Bird's Nest near the bottom through riffles, seams, runs, and pocket water. It performs exceptionally well as a searching pattern when trout are feeding subsurface but are not focused on a specific insect. Pair it with smaller nymphs or emergers for a highly effective tandem setup.
