Hare's Ear - Dark Grey
Description
Dark Hare's Ear Nymph
The Dark Hare's Ear is a proven variation of one of the most successful nymph patterns ever developed. Tied using the darker gray fibers from the hare's mask, this version offers a deeper, more natural appearance that can be especially effective when trout are feeding on darker mayfly nymphs, caddis larvae, and other aquatic insects.
Like the traditional Gold Rib Hare's Ear, the Dark Hare's Ear features a buggy profile and natural movement that trout readily recognize. The darker coloration provides an excellent alternative when standard tan patterns are producing less consistently or when local insect populations tend to exhibit darker tones.
A versatile year-round producer, the Dark Hare's Ear performs exceptionally well in rivers, streams, tailwaters, and lakes where trout feed heavily on subsurface insects.
